Christmas Decorating Hacks for Your Apartment

Decorating for the Christmas season in a small house or apartment can present multiple challenges, foremost of which is the Christmas tree conundrum. When space is at a premium, it’s not easy to move or even remove furniture to accommodate a real tree. So when a Christmas tree in an apartment is not an option, try these alternative Christmas decorating ideas:

Use wall decals
All you need is a little bit of blank wall to put up this Christmas tree wall decal. The sticker decals are made of vinyl, come in a large range of cheery colours, and are easily removable. They’re even suitable for smooth surfaces like fridges, large furniture and windows.

A little ribbon goes a long way:
Drape and fasten ribbon (using thumbtacks if you don’t have anywhere to tie it) on a banister, over a window or door, or even on the wall as a handy place to hang Christmas decorations or cards.

Make a Twig Tree:
Find as many near-straight sticks as you can get your hands on.  Stick to your wall using two-way tape and then decorate! This twig tree is a great option for someone who has a wall but doesn’t have the space to put up an actual tree.

The driftwood Christmas tree:
If you are lucky enough to live by the coast, take a stroll along the beach to collect pieces of driftwood. You can use driftwood to make a variety of festive or home decor accessories. Add snowflake lights, pom poms and sisal rope to create this fun little tree.
